Booking Terms

Last updated: September 30, 2026

These Booking Terms apply only to bookings made through checkout on fairtravels.ai(the “Site”), as our Terms of Servicedefine it, and form part of those Terms. If checkout is not offered to you, they don't apply to you, and nothing on the Site is an offer to sell or arrange travel.

1. Who you are dealing with

When you book a flight through checkout, Velocity Digital Labs LLC(“we”, “us”, “our”) takes your payment as the merchant of record. We act as an intermediary: we arrange your ticket with the airline through our booking partner, Duffel, which issues it for the airline. The airline provides the flight. Your contract of carriage is with the airline, and its conditions of carriage and the fare rules shown to you before you book apply. Our service fee is our own charge, for our booking service.

2. What you can book, and who can book

  • Flights only.
  • We do not sell travel to residents of California, Florida, Hawaii or Washington. If you pay by card through Stripe for a new booking and your card's billing address is in one of those states, we refund the payment in full and cancel the booking.
  • Checkout may not be available in every country, to every account, or at all times.
  • You must be 18 or over to book, and may book for others only with their permission or as their parent or legal guardian.

3. Prices, taxes and fees

  • The price we show before you book is the airline's fare, including the airline's taxes and fees, plus our service fee (called “Platform fee” in price breakdowns), shown separately.
  • We take payment by card on Stripe's secure payment page, in the currency shown before you book. Your card issuer may add its own foreign transaction fees; we add none. Where we offer payment in Indian rupees (INR), that checkout shows prices in INR and Razorpay takes the payment.
  • On Stripe's payment page, any sales tax is calculated using the billing address you enter and shown as a separate line before you pay. Where we offer payment in INR, any GST and TCS that apply are shown in the price breakdown before you confirm payment.
  • The amount shown on the payment page is the total you pay. We add nothing after you pay.
  • Stripe, and Razorpay where we offer payment in INR, process payments for us, and we are the merchant of record.

4. Holding a price, payment and ticketing

  • When you choose a fare, we hold our quoted price for up to 15 minutes. The airline can still change or withdraw the fare during that time.
  • Your booking is confirmed when we receive your payment. We then ask the airline, through Duffel, to issue your ticket, and email you your booking reference and e-ticket numbers.
  • We never charge you more than the total you agreed to pay. If the airline's price has risen and your ticket can't be issued at the price you paid, or it can't be issued for any other reason, we refund everything you paid, including our service fee and any tax.

5. Changes

Changes follow the airline's fare rules. The airline sets any change fee and fare difference, and we show you the price of a change before you pay for it. We charge that price at cost, with no fee of our own, and if the airline can't confirm a change you paid for, we refund what you paid for it in full. If the new flight costs less, we refund the difference when the airline returns it to us as cash; if the airline returns it as credit instead, the airline issues that credit under its own rules. Tickets can't be transferred to someone else, and name corrections depend on the airline.

6. Cancellations and refunds

Our Refund Policy explains what you get back. In short:

  • If you cancel within 24 hours of your booking being confirmed, which is when we receive your payment, and more than 7 days (168 hours) before 00:00 UTC on the date of your first flight, we refund our service fee in full and whatever the airline refunds for the ticket, with the sales tax charged on those amounts for card payments through Stripe. Where we offer payment in INR, the 24 hours run from when your booking is created instead.
  • If you paid and your ticket was never issued, we refund everything you paid.
  • Otherwise, if you cancel outside the 24-hour window, our service fee, and any tax charged on it, is not refunded, and you get back what the airline's fare rules give.
  • When the airline cancels or significantly changes a flight, we refund what the airline returns, with the sales tax charged on it for card payments through Stripe, but not our service fee or any tax charged on it, which are refunded only when the customer cancels within 24 hours of the booking being confirmed and more than 7 days (168 hours) before 00:00 UTC on the date of the first flight.
  • Before a cancellation is completed, we tell you what the airline will refund, and whether as cash or airline credit.

7. Your responsibilities

Enter each traveller's name exactly as it appears on the passport or ID they will travel with, and check every detail before you pay. Make sure every traveller has a valid passport and the visas and health documents needed for every country on the trip, including transit countries. Follow the airline's check-in, baggage and carriage rules, and tell the airline and us about any assistance a traveller needs. We are not responsible if boarding or entry is refused because of missing or invalid travel documents.

8. The airline's conditions and your passenger rights

The airline's conditions of carriage and fare rules apply to your flight. If the airline changes your schedule, we tell you and help you accept the change or ask the airline for an alternative or a refund under its rules. If the law that applies to your flight gives you more than these Booking Terms describe, or sooner, you get what the law gives. Compensation, and other duties that laws such as EU and UK Regulation 261/2004 place on the airline, are owed by the airline, and we will help you contact it.

9. What we are responsible for

We are responsible for showing you the price and fare rules we receive from the airline, taking your payment, arranging your ticket as you asked, and passing on refunds as our Refund Policy says. The airline is responsible for the flight. Our liability is limited as section 9 of our Terms of Service says, and that limit does not apply to refunds due to you.
