Frequent shared dolmuş minibuses run between Ölüdeniz, Hisarönü, and Fethiye every 10-15 minutes in season for a few lira — far cheaper than taxis. Flag one down or wait at a marked stop, and pay the driver in cash. From Dalaman airport, pre-book a shuttle or use the Muttas bus to Fethiye then a dolmuş.
Babadağ paragliding is very safe with reputable pilots, but this is a genuine gotcha — check that your tandem operator is licensed and insured, that the pilot has thousands of logged flights, and that the flight is cancelled in high wind. Never chase the cheapest quote for an activity 2,000 m up.
The open Belcekız Beach (outside the sheltered lagoon) can have strong currents — swim only when the flag is not red. Summer sun is fierce with a UV index that regularly hits extreme; use high-SPF sunscreen, a hat, and seek shade midday. Carry water on any hike or boat trip.
